Arts Education
All Rhode Islanders have the right to a vibrant (robust, high-quality, comprehensive) arts education in their schools and in partnership with community arts providers and teaching artists. Arts education at RISCA supports this through grants and programming.

Our Teaching Artist Roster, administered by the New England Foundation for the Arts' CreativeGround, is a listing of approved R.I. teaching artists who have been reviewed by public panels and can work in educational settings. Once approved, they become RISCA-endorsed arts educators. Projects funded through RISCA's Project Grants in Education are encouraged to work with artists on our Roster. Applications for the R.I. Roster open on May 1 and close on Aug. 1. Read more and how to apply.
