Drop-In Hours for Public Art Commission for RICs Craig-Lee Hall
RISCA seeks artists for a new artwork to be commissioned for Rhode Island College’s Craig-Lee Hall, through the state’s public art law which mandates that 1% of all state capital construction and renovation funds be allocated to artwork for public facilities.
During the optional drop-in hours, you can learn more about the Call and discuss the opportunity. Meet in the lobby of the Craig-Lee Hall on the RIC campus.
Eligibility: This Call is open to all artists regionally from the states of Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, New York, and Maine. Those currently enrolled in undergraduate-level programs are not eligible to apply.
The budget for acquisition of artwork is $100,000. The building offers opportunities for both interior and exterior works.
