Galleries/Public Art

RISCA oversees The Atrium Gallery at One Capitol Hill, located on the main floor of the Administration Building, Providence. On a rotating basis, the Atrium hosts multidisciplinary exhibits by local art and cultural organizations, and artists from diverse communities.

Gallery at the State Health Laboratories is a partnership between the R.I. State Health Laboratories, a division of R.I.’s Department of Health (RIDOH), and RISCA, to promote outstanding exhibitions by artists living and working in Rhode Island. The gallery presents works that celebrate the intersection of art, science, and innovation. The R.I. State Council on the Arts designed the gallery so that artwork can be viewed by pedestrians from the sidewalk as the building is not open to the public.

Currently Exhibition

A new Call for art will be issued in July for two R.I. artists to provide a solo exhibition.
