Listening Session on Streamlining Arts and Culture Grants

The Rhode Island State Council on the Arts has kicked off public meetings and forums on how best to streamline and simplify its arts and culture grants programs and application process. They have been hosting meetings throughout the state to gather feedback from the public to develop improved practices for their granting process.

Agency staff members want to hear from you!

Once the RISCA team members have collected and organized the public feedback, they will improve and update grants and the granting process to be more accessible to its constituents, which include artists, folk and traditional artists, arts educators, arts and culture organizations, schools, nonprofit organizations, and healthcare institutions.

This online event is an informal facilitated discussion where RISCA staff members want to hear from you about what about how our grants are working and not working. Tell us what the challenges you are facing in navigating and applying for an arts and culture grant.

RSVP Required.
