Bristol Community College's Holocaust and Genocide Center in Fall River, Mass., call for public art proposal: "The Button Project"

Bristol Community College and its Holocaust and Genocide Center invite proposals for a public artwork incorporating 1.5 million buttons, symbolizing children murdered in the Holocaust. Artists are encouraged to use the entire collection to create a memorial that fosters reflection, education, and dialogue. The selected work will be installed outdoors on campus, becoming a visible part of daily life. 

Eligibility: Applicants must be at least 18 and experienced in large-scale public art.

Public Arts and Culture Committee of Watertown, Mass., call for public art initiative: Expert Pairings.

Expert Pairings invites artists and scientists to explore the ecology of Watertown and collaborate on temporary public artwork. Artists and scientists can submit qualifications individually or as a pair. Individuals will be paired so that each Expert Pairing features one artist and one scientist as lead collaborators.

Public Arts and Culture Committee of Watertown, Mass., call for public art initiative: Community Sculpture Walk.

PACC invites artists to apply to the 2025-2026 Community Sculpture Walk. The exhibit features outdoor sculptures to enhance use of green space in Watertown, encourage public interaction with contemporary art, and create an annual exhibition. Selected sculptures will be on view for two years and artists receive a $2,500 stipend.

Eligibility: Open to all three-dimensional working artists worldwide. Selected artists must be available (in person or virtually for a reception and artist talk on May, 17, 2025). City of Watertown Employees and those working for the City in any capacity are ineligible to apply.
