Deadline extended to July 14 for RISCA's 2 Calls for Artists
Artwork for the newly renovated Regan Unit of Eleanor Slater Hospital will be commissioned for the interior and exterior in the courtyard through two separate Calls. 

Call No. 1
Title: Interior spaces to support a series of artworks.
Budget: $160,000.
Deadline: July 14, 2025.

Title: Exterior Call for a courtyard mural.
Budget: $65,000.
Deadline: July 14, 2025.
Medium: Mural should utilize the Polytab or "parachute cloth" method.

NEA has announced two grant opportunities

Grants for Arts Projects welcome first-time and returning applicants from organizations serving rural, urban, suburban and tribal communities.

­Celebrating America250: Arts Projects Honoring the National Garden of American Heroes grant opportunity in anticipation of the 250th anniversary of American Independence offers grants for arts projects in any discipline that celebrate the contributions to American history. The Robert and Margaret MacColl Johnson Fellowship Fund: Fellowships for R.I. Visual Artists
Title: The Robert and Margaret MacColl Johnson Fellowship Fund.
Deadline: Aug. 14.
Amount: Three $30,000 artist fellowships.

The MacColl Johnson 2025 Fellowships will be awarded to emerging and mid-career visual artists in Rhode Island. Read more and apply. 

Mural for Young Woods Elementary School at the B. Jae Clanton Complex
Budget: $14,000 with $1,500 reserved for semifinalist design commissions.
Deadline: July 15.
Eligibility: Applicants must be at least 21 years old and have a current Rhode Island home or studio address. 

The City of Providence Department of Art Culture and Tourism; the Art in City Life Commission; and The Sgt. Cornel Young, Jr. & Charlotte Woods Elementary School have an open call for the façade of the Sgt. Cornel Young Jr. and Charlotte Woods Elementary School at the B.
